TOURS
Guided tours are available by appointment only Tuesday through Friday for groups of 10 or more people from kindergarten to adults. There is no charge for a guided tour. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes to one hour. To schedule a guided tour, call the Gallery at (318) 865-4201 ext. 100 and ask for Jennifer DeFratis. Two weeks advanced notice is required for scheduling a group tour.

First Saturday Tours are available for anyone interested in participating on the first Saturday of every month at 2 p.m. These specially scheduled tours are open to the public and a reservation is not required, although groups of 10 or more are asked to call ahead so preparations may be made to accommodate the group on these particular tours.

All tours, like admission to the Gallery, are free to the public.

Self-conducted tours of groups by civic organizations, school groups, tours buses, and other organizations are also encouraged. The Gallery provides self guided tour brochures [hyperlink] to groups on a variety of subjects, provided a request is called in ahead of time. Self guided tour brochures will be ready at the reception desk upon arrival. Teachers escorting school students are required to have a sufficient number of chaperones with the group to ensure order, a ratio of one adult per every 10 students.

Community lectures are available to civic organizations and school groups on request at no charge. The program covers highlights from the Gallery's permanent collection and current special exhibitions. Lectures on these or special topics can be scheduled by calling the Gallery.

For more information about scheduling a tour, tour descriptions, or to reserve self-guided tour brochures, please contact Jennifer DeFratis at 318-865-4201 ext. 100.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY
Visitors with physical disabilities will find easy entrance to the building as there are no steps from the curb to the front entrance and no stairways inside the Gallery on the main museum level. Wheelchairs are available for loan at no charge to visitors for use indoors.
